We’re here on this incredible parenting journey, writing to connect with you. We are experimenting in parenting slowly, intentionally. We’re attempting to soak in all the joy. And manage the overwhelm. Trying to remember to breathe.
The only necessity, we think, is to love our kids and be fully present with them. Simple, yet often quite difficult. We won’t get it right all the time. But the times we do are everything.
Beyond this, we find ourselves buying and being gifted items — things that enliven, teach, spark creativity, and become a part of our traditions.
This is wonderful.

Here we prioritize quality over quantity, less over more. Each essay we share was written with a real human in mind, someone we personally know.
